Marty Watt Poetry Reading
On March 19, 2017 I had the pleasure of hosting a poetry reading at the Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art for the legendary Philadelphia performance poet Marty Watt. The event was Watt’s first reading of all new poetry in thirty years. I produced the event along with the great Philadelphia songwriter Kenn Kweder and Veck McCartin. The event received significant media attention from renowned music critic A.D. Amorosi in the Philadelphia Inquirer (click here) and by Peter Crimmins for the local NPR station WHYY. A video of highlights from the poetry reading may be found below:
The video was shot by Zack Sievers and Kaitlyn Connors. Zack Sievers also edited the video and Iaan Reynolds worked on the sound in post-production. A very special thanks to them.
Enjoy!
